near the historic towns of Capitan - home of Smokey Bear and Lincoln,

where the legendary capture of Billy the Kid took place. If you

are skiing this winter, we are not far from Cloudcroft, a lovely little

mountain town with great skiing and close to

the the Sunspot observatory. Ruidoso, home to

the Ski Apache ski area and other attractions

is a great place to visit. Tularosa is only 30

miles south and the amazing ghost town White

Oaks, is an old gold mining town with a rich
